This is an online training session for Lean Library, designed to give you a quick and simple introduction to this fantastic tool. The Lean Library browser extension is a browser plugin for users of an academic or research library. It makes library services available right in the users' workflow, where and when they are needed, making use of those services more seamless and convenient. Lean Library consists of three components; Library Access, Library Assist, and Library Alternatives. The webinar is open to anyone to attend – library staff, faculty members, researchers, and students.
Please come prepared to share your answers on the question: "What issues, if any, do library patrons have when accessing subscribed-to online or electronic resources?"
The webinar will cover:
• The “Problems”
• History of Lean Library, and how the product has developed
• The Lean Library components: Library Access, Library Assist, and Library Alternatives
• Session round-up, and Q&A
If you are unable to attend the live session but would like to receive a copy of the recording, please sign up, and select 'Yes' from drop-down box labelled "Recording only?". This way, we can email you the recording after the session, but we know not to expect you at the live event!
